The House of Butterflies is a center of environmental education, opened in 2002, has quickly become one of the most interesting attractions in the Romagna territory.
The visitor can admire, in a 500 square meter greenhouse, thousands of colorful tropical butterflies in their usual environment, the rainforest. To enrich the context: lush greenery (rice and banana plants, carnivorous plants, brightly colored flowers and other tropical shrubs) and exotic critters (chameleons, giant beetles, mantises).
The Butterfly House also includes a botanical garden as well as a newly built pavilion dedicated to the world of insects.
